All heavy haulage and interstate transport of oversized loads requires legal compliance, based on the oversize load regulations. BT Transport & Logistics – operating since 1969 – has an in-house team that is fully experienced in transport legislation, and we are qualified to survey and apply for oversize permits for you.

Overview

All heavy vehicle operations including day to day general freight tasks through to out-of-gauge specialist moves, must be managed in compliance with the raft of controlling legislation in place for the transport industry. BT Transport & Logistics – operating since 1969 – has an in-house team that is fully experienced in transport legislation, and are able to make application for permits on your behalf.

What we do

The BT Transport & Logistics Compliance unit manages and maintains BTTL:

  • NHVAS Accreditation: Mass and  Maintenance (and Standard Hours Fatigue)
  • WA HV Accreditation: Maintenance and Fatigue
  • Permits - over-dimensional/over mass permits (single trip and period permits)
  • 3rd party clearances, approvals and permits - related to ODOM permit applications
  • Work diary checker using  3rd party verification software

So for external parties we may be able to assist you with:

  • Work diary checking (and  processing any No-conformances that may arise)
  • Permits - over-dimensional/over mass permits (single trip and period permits)
  • Third party clearances, approvals and permits - related to ODOM permit applications
  • Meeting record keeping requirements of NHVAS and WA heavy vehicle accreditations, e.g driver records, vehicle/asset lists, medicals due, etc
  • Maintain NHVR and Mainroads WA  accreditation systems on behalf of clients, e.g. conducting Quarterly Compliance Reviews, Internal Reviews, etc
  • Supply of relevant gazettes, notices, codes of practice and operating conditions
  • Assistance/advice in developing and maintaining:
  • Safety , environment and quality management systems
  • Heavy vehicle systems for National Heavy Vehicle Accreditation Schemes (maintenance, mass and fatigue (Standard and Basic Fatigue Management)
